Julio Serna-Molina is the Managing Partner of Diamond Client Consulting, he has over 15 years of experience in consulting and business strategy helping companies across multiple industries in the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Prior to Diamond Client Consulting Julio was the Strategic Planning Director for a global function at Danone, one of the largest food companies in the world

Before Danone he was a Principal at top-tier consulting firm Kearney, he was based out of the Mexico City office where before leaving was the Operations Strategy lead. In over 9 years at Kearney Julio worked with more than 50 companies in corporate strategy, supply chain strategy, operational due diligence, strategic sourcing, primary/ secondary distribution optimization and organizational transformations. He also has experience helping Small and Medium Enterprises in the United States improve their performance

Julio has a Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Masters in Business Administration from Darden Business School – University of Virginia.

  • Supply chain strategy for a leading US confectionery, defining manufacturing and distribution footprint needs and 5-year roadmap needed to implement the strategy
  • Cost transformation assessment for a large Oil & Gas company identifying savings opportunities of over 100 million dollars in sourcing categories and over 15 million by optimizing the material management process
  • Assessment and implementation of distribution process outsourcing opportunities for a global CPG client in Mexico; for the same client developed a supply chain network optimization identifying 5% savings
  • Organizational design for a process industry client defining changes in structure, processes, etc. required to align to the new company strategy optimizing the number of FTEs and overall company operation
  • Cost optimization for a telecom client identifying opportunities to reduce costs by 8-12% in external spend, optimize their for-sale and technical service equipment inventory and improve the warranty application process reducing working capital by 30 %
